President
Ella graduated with honors from U.C. San Diego with a degree in economics. As the daughter of Bob & Janet Perkin (Founders), she grew up in the business and has over 20 years of experience specializing in the Senior Health Insurance Market. Ella is an expert on Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D. She has served on Medicare Supplement Advisory Councils across the country. As the President of a Company that specializes exclusively in Medicare options, Ella is always alert to any changes in Medicare Legislation and how these changes affect Medicare Beneficiaries. She has been married to her husband Devin for 20 years and has three children. She also competes in indoor rowing competitions and currently holds six indoor rowing world records.

Catrina graduated on the President’s List from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, with a degree in Nutrition Science and a Minor in Biology. Office Manager
Amy joined the American Retirement Insurance Services team in August 2009. As the Office Manager she plays an integral role in the daily functioning of our office. She specializes in new account processing and has great attention to detail which ensures that our clients’ transition to Medicare is smooth and seamless. She has great experience and expertise with all of the Insurance Company procedures. In her spare time she enjoys road trips, being out in nature, hiking, trying new restaurants, and reading mystery novels.
Miranda Kuehn
Assistant Office Manager
Miranda joined American Retirement Insurance Services in February 2019. As the Assistant Office Manager, she specializes in client service and operations. She has International Studies and Spanish Literature degrees from Cal State San Marcos and is currently attending Law School at the University of San Diego. She enjoys going to baseball games, spending time outdoors, and traveling to new places.
Bob Perkin
Founder
Bob has testified in Sacramento before the State Senate Finance Committee on Medicare Supplement Law. His testimony prevented proposed legislation that could have been detrimental to Medicare beneficiaries. He has been a featured radio speaker on Medigap issues. He was formerly a scientist and has specialized in the Medicare Supplement business for over 40 years.
